Creating Projects from Opportunities

What happens in your business when after an opportunity is won? At most companies, after the contracts are signed and the high-fives given, a new round of work begins to actually fulfill on what you just sold.

Unfortunately, your sales system probably isn’t designed to help you keep track of the projects that start after the opportunity is closed. That’s where Cloud Coach can help.

Cloud Coach allows you to streamline project creation and increase visibility by creating projects directly from opportunities. There are three ways you can do this:

Option 1: Manual Project Creation

Using Salesforce related lists, you can associate projects with opportunities and accounts. Then select “New Project” and get started building a new project from scratch.

Option 2: Project Creation from a Template

If you’re selling standard work (or even mostly standard projects), you can save time and effort while ensuring your best practices are followed by using project templates. With a project template, you can build out all of the tasks, dependencies, resource assignments and more – to ensure your team is doing their best work every time.
