Verato had recently introduced a new Professional Services team and needed a way to oversee the entire professional services organization, while ensuring the right expertise, and the right talent could service customers at the right time.

The Vice President executes the strategic direction for Verato’s service offerings, working closely with the executive team to align overall organization goals and objectives. 

With Cloud Coach, Verato can easily undertake resource management and skills development, ensuring talented individuals are ready to service the field by identifying who has what skills and at what different levels.

Cloud Coach’s reporting functionality also provides an intuitive way to keep senior leadership aware of important project metrics.

As Verato built out its professional services organization formally, the team recognized the need for a tool to assist with best practices.

Primarily, Verato needed to understand capacity and utilization needs and also understand its repeatable service offerings.

Verato also wanted to formalize project frameworks within its organization.

Verato can now estimate capacity needs within the organization. It can work out how many project managers are needed, how many technical consultants are needed, and assign based on skills. Verato can also plan resources based on business growth and anticipated service delivery needs.

Cloud Coach has also removed the need for spreadsheets to manage the project process. The reduction of time needed to complete tasks means project administration can take hours instead of days.

In order to build relationships with customers, Verato wanted a way to manage goals and objectives directly – providing visibility to all stakeholders throughout a project process.

Verato now has a tool in place to manage customer expectations throughout a project – providing the opportunity to align both internal and external teams. Verato is also using Cloud Coach’s Project Health functionality to measure the progress of projects.
